Beech Hill Country House, set in 32 acres of woodland, lakes and tranquil gardens, is famed for its warm welcomes and fine food. This imposing Georgian building stands in countryside 2 miles from the historic walls of Londonderry.
The Hotel grounds also boasts a beautiful and practical walled garden. For years the walled garden lay idle and overgrown, that was until the discovery of an old cook book from Mrs. Skipton, a previous owner was discovered and inspired the team to start farming the walled gardens again.
Beech Hill’s talented gardener, Bob Peaker has restored the walled gardens & brought it back to life – it now supplies the kitchen with home grown vegetables, fruits and herbs just like it would have done 200 years ago & Head chef Leigh Thuraston uses all that is harvested in both the Ardmore Restaurant and their new Sixteen22 Gastro Pub, aptly named Sixteeen22, the year the original Beech Hill Manor House was built.
