Mix & Stay - The Cocktail Experience at Knockranny House Hotel
Knockranny's welcoming atmosphere begins with the open log fires in the reception hall and is carried throughout the property.
This experience will allow you to create a unique cocktail from their range of spirits, mixers, bitters and garnishes from their drinks library.
Arriving on Friday 10th February, you will be greeted by their mixologist to lay the foundation of the art of mixology. Taking you through the history of cocktail making and sampling some of the world most Classic Signature Cocktails.
The following morning, guests will enjoy breakfast overlooking the breathtaking landscape, in the afternoon, join their mixologist for their Cocktail Experience Workshop.
The workshop will feature:
The different styles and method of cocktails
Understand and master "cocktail tension" - The balance between alcoholic strength, sweetness, sourness, bitterness, saltiness, temperature and texture
Sensory and organoleptic memory development
Customization of your own cocktail
After creating your drink they will give you your recipe for you to enjoy your masterpiece at home, time and time again.
In the evening enjoy a delicious dinner in the award-winning La Fougére Restaurant.
