The Vaughan family are 4^th generation local hoteliers who pride themselves in providing professional hospitality in a relaxed atmosphere. The purpose-built hotel has a comfortable lounge/bar and a 2 AA Rosette quality restaurant, open from Tuesday to Saturday evening and should be booked in advance. The bar has one of the most extensive collections of Irish Whiskey, Scottish Malts and other spirits from around the world.

Vaughan Lodge offers a charming Irish hotel experience in beautiful surroundings. Bedrooms are well appointed and spacious with special attention to amenities and the needs of the international traveller. Breakfast is a treat each morning, cooked to order by the owner, and is available from 6.30am until 10.00am.

The hotel is ideally nestled on the shore of Liscannor Bay with many places of natural beauty nearby. From the Cliffs of Moher to the lunar like landscape of the Burren, the area enjoys a wide breadth of scenery and history that will indulge even the most travelled tourist.

Activities such as golf can be enjoyed in the area with Links Golf at Lahinch among the top three courses in Ireland. Located only a stroll from the beach, surfing is also a popular local past time.
