The 2018 Gold Medal Awards
The Gold Medal Awards, in association with Hotel & Catering Review magazine, announced the finalists for their 2018 awards. These awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of the hotel and catering sector throughout the country over the past 12 months.
Over all there are 26 prestigious Award to be given out on the Night, of which an Original Irish Hotel is included in 12 of the 26 categories. We have included a list below of each of the Hotels.
The winning Hotels will be picked by a panel of Judges based on site visits to the to Hotel, and the winners will be announced on Tuesday September 25th.
In addition to the main category awards, all hotels, country houses and guest houses are automatically shortlisted into a People's Choice Award - "Ireland's Favourite Place to Stay". Here you can cast your vote here for your favourite place per province with the top finalist in each province being revealed on the night of the awards. The overall winner will take home the trophy for Ireland's Favourite Place to Stay!
