Brooklodge & Macreddin Village, Co. Wicklow
Life as we know it at Macreddin Village has been a little different lately. However, one thing that remains the same is the fact that the Macreddin Village Bees need to be cared for. They currently have many working hives in the Village, working really hard producing honey for The Strawberry Tree Brigade. Macreddin Village Honey plays a huge role on The Strawberry Tree Menu each night. Pastry Chef Anna loves working with this precious honey. We all can’t wait to welcome our guests back to enjoy it.
Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Hotel & Spa, Co. Limerick
Gardener Caoimhin has been working hard to get the new apiary ready for the honey bees to arrive in Adare, Co. Limerick. The apiary is located at the back of the Mary's Organic garden at Woodlands House Hotel as it is south eastern facing so there is plenty of sun from early morning so the bees will be out early foraging for nectar & pollen.
Granville Hotel, Co. Waterford
Granville Hotel Waterford Blossom Honey is produced for the Granville Hotel by the East Waterford Beekeepers Association.
The EWBA represents the interests of beekeepers in the Waterford region and the honey produced is sourced in the Waterford area.
The rooftop of Buswells Hotel is a hive of activity. Located in the centre of Dublin, Buswells Hotel rooftop is home to the bees who produces pots of honey for guests to enjoy with breakfast.
