This weekend Dublin will come alive once again in the spirit of Ulysses as the annual world-renowned Bloomsday celebrations take place. Brooks Hotel, a passionate supporter of culture and the arts, will play host to ‘In the Footsteps of Bloom’ this June 16th in honour of the festival.

As part of the Bloomsday celebrations the team at Brooks Hotel have organised a scavenger hunt to some of the best know locations that Bloom visited on June 16th 1904. “Straw hat in sunlight. Tan shoes. Turnedup trousers. It is. It is. His heart quopped softly. To the right. Museum.” ‘Ulysses’ Upon completion of the scavenger hunt guests can return Brooks Hotel to receive a complimentary gorgonzola sandwich and a glass of Burgundy wine.

It is a fun way for our guests of the hotel to get to know more about Joyce and explore the trail of Leopold Bloom!
Brooks has a longstanding relationship in supporting literature in Dublin and is host hotel for the International Literature Festival for the six consecutive years.

Each month Brooks Hotel chooses their ‘Book of the Month’ which is made available for guests to borrow at their leisure. This month the Hotel has aptly choosen James Joyce's ‘Ulysses’ as the book of choice, celebrating Joyce’s brilliant literary work.
