Launch of Original Irish Hotels

For 32 years you have known our hotel collections as Manor House Hotels & Irish Country Hotels, however, following feedback from you our customers we have merged our two great companies into one, but rest assured, we’re still bringing you Ireland’s largest collection of Independent Hotels.

Our launch took place in DUBLIN , On Wednesday May 2nd. Original Irish Hotels was officially launched by the Minister of State for Tourism and Sport, Brendan Griffin T.D. at a press luncheon, hosted by the wonderful Kathryn Thomas.

Our exciting new brand will promote and manage reservations from both the domestic and international travel markets and represents the largest collection of privately-owned hotels in the country.

Along with our new name we are delighted to present our new Original Irish Hotels website which will undoubtedly be a source of inspiration and a visitor’s expert guide to the countless ways to discover the island, from historic castles, to charming country house hotels, luxury spas and tranquil resorts, to chic urban boutiques.

Within the website you will notice that the hotels are further categorised as Luxury Haven, Spa Retreats, Walking & Hiking Romantic & Getaway, Family Stays, Golf, Country Activity and Weddings. The collection is divided into 6 different regions of the country: Dublin, the Wild Atlantic Way, Northern Ireland, Ireland’s Ancient East, the Lakelands and Into The West.

All sixty hotels enjoy unique locations, personalities and charm, each well-known for the quality of their offerings and services, and catering to every budget, lifestyle and travel interest and we hope to share all the unique experiences, adventures and characters that make our group special.

Over the last number of years, many of our hotels have invested heavily in their properties and we felt it was time to make it easier for you to visit these great properties. We thank you for your custom and for supporting our Independent Hoteliers located all over the island. We hope you join us in celebrating as we embark on our new journey as Original Irish Hotels.
