Beech Hill Country House Hotel
To celebrate 'Taste the Island' this Autumn Beech Hill have included a complimentary tasting board of Derry's very best Northbound Beer & Dart Mountain Cheese for our 'Discover Derry' guests!
In Beech Hills Gastro pub 'Sixteen22' there will be a Beer/Cheese board from £10 each for September to November to celebrate Taste the Island.
Local Cheese on the menu: Buswell Hotel are offering local cheese on their cheeseboard during September. The cheese and its makers will feature on their menus including Cooleeney farm cheese, Gubbeen, Milleens and Cashel Blue Cheese.
A cheese board special with selected wines will be available in the hotel bar.
Castle Hotel Macroom
Local Cheese on the menu: Castle Cheese and Charcuterie Board. Coolea, Toonsbridge, Gubbeen and Macroom buffalo cheeses. Gubbeen cured meats, Duhallow spiced beef & McCarthy’s Kanturk Queen pudding. All served with grilled house sourdough, olives and chutney.
Special dish involving cheese: Toonsbridge Halloumi Salad. Grilled halloumi cheese from Toonsbridge Dairy, tossed salad, dried cranberries, toasted seeds with preserved lemon dressing.

Meet the Brewers on Friday 13th of September
As part of 'Taste of West Cork Food Festival' and 'Taste the Island' Casey's of Baltimore are hosting a meet the brewers events in the bar at Casey's of Baltimore for an informal chat where you will hear about their passion for their crafts beers. Taste the Island Cheese Trolley: is available in the Headfort Arms Hotel to celebrate Taste the Island. All cheeses will be Irish Farm house cheeses and yu will have the option to match this with a local Boyne Valley Beverage.
Taste the Island Special: The Headfort Arms 2 Night B&B special includes a 30 Mile Radius menu which is created using local producers in the Boyne Valley served on one evening of you stay in the Vanilla Pod Restaurant.
